My Pal Scout is a plush toy and has many colours and this attracts the attention of children. Also, the voice of My Pal Scout is very unmistakable: playful, that of a young boy.

My Pal Scout has a name tag which lights up every time Scout sings or plays music. Children find this name tag very interesting. The tag is made from plastic and the paws have embroidered symbols so that nothing can be detached from the LeapFrog My Pal Scout.

Your little one can have as much fun as he likes with My Pal Scout, gnaw it or throw it around and nothing will happen to it. My Pal Scout is very light so that children can take it with them anywhere they go. There is also a Velcro closure which seals the battery compartment, USB port, and power volume switch, so that the child cannot have anything to do with them.

You can adjust the volume in three levels: normal, quiet and master off. In this state My Pal Scout cannot operate and it is only parents that can make him work again. The speakers of the toy are inside it. If you hear him a bit off this means that you need to change the batteries, which requires 3 AAA batteries. You need a screwdriver to do that.

On the pays of LeapFrog My Pal Scout there are embroidered symbols of different features. You can press them and listen to different sounds. By pressing the right arm paw you can listen sentences which help the child learn to distinguish emotions, colors and words.

The left arm paw has music notes and you can listen to an upbeat song, as well. There are seven songs with lyrics which are played in a different order and there are also three instrumental tunes.

With toddlers the songs are very popular because they like the music, and as they grow they can also sing the songs.

On the right foot paw there is a stars/moon symbol that give you soothing songs that are ideal for children to fall asleep. You can press it once and listen to two minutes of music or you can press it twice and listen to five minutes of music.

And also you can listen up to ten minutes of music so that your child will fall asleep listening to music.

There are some pre-installed songs on LeapFrog My Pal Scout or you can add some more songs using LeapFrog Connect application. On the left foot there is the button which you can switch if you wan to switch on or off the My Pal Scout.
